$260+$40 Deepest Stack NLH
Total Entries: 175
After 15 hours of play, the final seven players agreed on an ICM Adjusted Payout and as the chip leader, Tarcisio Ferreira takes 1st place, $7,132, plus the prized ‘Baby Borgata’ trophy. His chip lead was thanks to a huge final hand at the end of Level 25 where his pocket 8s earned him a double-up through former chip leader Vladimir Alexandrov, who ended up finishing 4th.
Tarcisio is a businessman who owns both a bar and a supermarket. He lives in Long Beach, New Jersey, where he’s lived for 10 years, but was living in New York for 20 years before that. He is originally from Brazil, obviously, and is of course rooting for them to win the World Cup.
Because of his businesses, he doesn’t get to play much and won’t be able to make tomorrow’s DeepStacks Challenge Series finale, but will be back in July during the Summer Poker Open.
The final seven players were happy to adjust the payouts based on chip counts and call it a night. Congratulations to all!
Today’s Deepest Stack drew 175 entrants for a total prize pool of $44,125, which was paid out to the final 18 players as shown below.
