John Duci
Getting to the money bubble was a snap, getting into the money was a bit of a different matter. With two minutes coming off the clock for each hand, the bubble rolled through two levels of play before the field was in the money. And they all made something out of the deal.
It took 30 hands. A three and a zero, for an even one hour of clock time to burst the bubble.
And by the time it was done, we had two players splitting 27th place money.
On Table 1, Tom Schmidt opened to 35,000 from the hijack, Vittorio Abbate moved all in for 143,000 from the cutoff and Schmidt called.
Schmidt:
Abbate:
It was a race but Abbate was unable to catch his suited over cards on the board. He was leaving the room when he was told to hold up. There was another all in on Table 4. In that case, John Duci was at risk in a three-way pot and ran smack into the
or Ryan O’Connell to also go out on the bubble.
Since Abbate and Duci were eliminated on the same hand at different tables, they chopped up 27th place and earned a $150 rebate for the bubble.
