Action folded around to Gilanthony Bertin in the small blind, he limped, and Ivan Mirkovich checked his option in the big. The flop came , Bertin checked, and Mirkovich moved all in for 340,000. After a quick minute to think about it, Bertin called with the bigger stack.

Harold Cubillos
Harold Cubillos had only three big blinds coming back from break but found a quick double up to get a little breathing room. Soon after, he moved all in for 300,000 from the small blind after Walter Sarmiento opened to 155,000 and AJ called on the button. Sarmiento four-bet shoved to get AJ to abandon his 155,000 in the pot.

Edgar Vutan
Even with the blinds going up mid-bubble, it still took six hands before we had the first all-in called. It happened when a short-stacked players moved all in for 86,000 and Edgar Vutan called in the small blind to put him at risk. Then they had to wait for the other three tables to finish as the word spread. Once they were complete, the hands were tabled.

It took a little longer to get there than anticipated but Event 4 hit the money bubble with a few minutes remaining in Level 19. Tournament staff paused the clock and issued the money bubble instructions. They would play one hand at each table, with two minutes coming off for each, and they would continue that way until one player was eliminated to put them in the money.

Mel Berfond
One level after the dinner break, Event 4 is down to the last four tables with 36 players remaining. Some of that was due to Mel Berfond.
He sent a tablemate to the rail in 37th place and tournament staff broke a table to fill in the seats. Berfond picked up a nice cash to start the series, he finished in fourth place at the Event 1 final table for a $5,020 payday.
